Great Question!!!

So, Catherine Witherell (a fabulous fellow jewelry artist) posed a great question in the comments section of my last blog post... What am I up to next!?!

(Taking a deep breath...) I have so many things in the works! Small things, big things, inbetween things...

For starters, here's a sneak peek at a few new beauties that will be listed in the shop soon:


First of all, you all will notice that I am going to be blogging more (yay!), which is a challenge in itself because I do not have internet access at my house and have been relying on some very gracious family members to help me out in letting me borrow their connections (Thanks!!!!). So, you should start checking in more often to see what all is going on behind the scenes, and whatever is on my mind at the time. And, feel free to say "HELLO"! It's so great to hear from you...yes, all of you! Tell me who you are, or just say hi, or leave me a smile. I can tell you that it would be my pleasure. :)

There are new things in the works for all of my marvelous customers! It's a bit of a secret for now, but if you make a purchase, you will be in on the secret (shhh). But, if not, let me reassure you that I will not keep you in suspense forever... I will BLOG about it in time to come. And take it from me that it will not be easy keeping my lips sealed 'till then. I am horrible at keeping a surprise a secret! Yes, I am that person that will tell her husband what he is getting for his birthday a week before the special day! Eek, I can't help it!

And, for those of you who are a bit more local, you might just be seeing me around town more often. Again, I have few secrets in the works that I will BLOG about soon. Until then, if you are in town, you can find my jewelry at the following:

These two galleries are both run by such fantastically lovely women, and their galleries are filled with such incredibly talented artists! I definitely recommend checking them out, and tell them that I say "hello"!

And, let me tell you... I will surely be having more sales, especially around the holidays (and perhaps the spur of the moment surprise sale too!).

I have FINALLY gotten my grubby little hands on the latest issue (#7 for those of us counting) of Lula magazine!!!! Because it's only issued twice a year and comes from the UK it can be such a hard magazine to find, but it is a jewel among jewels. If you have not discovered this magazine yet, you should definitely check it out! The photography alone is absolutely dreamy! Here is a sneak peek at Zooey Deschanel adrift into her fairytale dreams...


The thick book-like issues are filled with fanciful imagery with an all out little girl nostalgic feel. While you WON'T find endless pages of advertisements, you will find page turning interviews with iconic singers, designers, actors and the like! And, lets not forget the seemingly endless pages of drool-over fashion shoots. I mean, I would dress as a witch year round when it looks this good!

The Fashions of Fall

I too am an avid Project Runway watcher, and must say that I was quite impressed with the runway shows at NY Fashion week! Congrats to Leanne for her incredible win! Her wave inspired collection was a dream afloat! (And might I add that she is a fellow Etsian, so check her out).


Korto had a mesmerizing collection just full of rich colors!


I was also very pleasantly surprised with Kenley's collection! Who knew such a cute and imaginative collection could come from such a harshly rude girl!?! Gasp, did I say that.. yes, I did. :)


But man, oh man, oh man was I disappointed when Jerrell didn't make it to the final three! Just look at his work!!! A girl can never be too embellished if you ask me!
