For the Love of Old

This book is the newest of the oldest addition on my shelf. Well, actually, it's not quite on my shelf yet. I haven't even had the time to read the first page. But, I have flipped through and looked at all of the wonderful photos. here are a few glances inside. Even the inside cover pages are worth drooling over. But, I'm partial to embroidery.

Pretty Spring Things

So, it's officially Spring. However, the weather does not feel it. It's still cold here. The sun is out, though, so my hopes are high.

My studio has actually begun to look like a studio, and here are a few of the newest pieces that I've been able to create (with Spring in mind, of course).

PATTERN

I've been meaning to post about this marvelous book for quite some time now. If you have not seen it, nor looked through it, you have no idea what beauty you are keeping your peepers from seeing. The color combinations alone are fascinating to me. It's a book you will definitely find me flipping through for inspiration!

I want them all...

Just look at these AMAZING pieces of furniture!!! I would love any and all of these pieces in my house, especially in my studio. Furniture that has been created from scrap elements. I absolutely love the concept (heh, I suppose that I would since that's how I create the majority of my jewelry). They can all be found here, Piet Hein Eek .

Winter is melting away.

I really could have used this umbrella from FreePeople yesterday. It would've been much more fun that my plain black one.

The rain came and the snow melted. But, before it went away, I got a shot of this little fellow down the block. Isn't he adorable!?! I have no idea who his creator was, but it sure looked like fun.
